ARTAX
Artax are a Glasgow based ambient synthwave heavy rock/80s revival pop duo consisting of Katie Wills on lead vocals, keys and co-songwriter and Callum Warrender on lead guitar, synth and everything production wise.
With Katie only having joined Artax at the end of last year, the duo have already moulded and crafted a unique sound. With a variety of styles consisting of ambient and atmospheric but powerful vocals, shredding melodic guitar solos, catchy 80s pop revival vibes as well as some heavier elements including metal and even some classic 80s rock-these two have combined several styles that match up so well together.
Lyrics focus on mental health but also with empowering themes of rising up and taking charge of your life and finding power in yourself to embrace who you are and love who you are!
