Biography:
THE CHOCOLATINES is a Japanese indie pop band based in Toulouse, France, formed in 2019 by violin maker Kanoko (vocals, violin) and sound engineer Ayumu Matsuo (drums, guitar, bass).

The combination of the British indie rock influences of Ayumu with the kawaii manga spirit of Kanoko deliver energetic melodies merged with melancholic mood, while Jean-Michel Cros, French arranger, is adding the ‘French Touch’ on the keyboards. From the diversity of each member results a unique band sound, like a perfect mix between Blur, Perfume and Air. The Chocolatines will drop their first single ‘Reve d’un Jour’ later this year.
