Wow! He got into astronomy about the same time as I did. I now have a little reflector but I have owned a few refractors and one really decent Cassegrain go-to through which I saw my best view ever of Saturn. In truth, I haven't been active in the hobby due to family matters but now I have a scope and I am looking forward to some time under the stars.
