Since District 9 became a smash hit in 2009 filmmaker Neill Blomkamp has been teasing the possibilities of a sequel for years. This morning Blomkamp made things official by announcing on Twitter that he, his wife/writing partner Terri Tatchell and original star Sharlto Copley are currently penning the script for District 10 !

Deadline is reporting that a Superman reboot is in the works at Warner Bros. and DC with author Ta-Nehisi Coates writing the script and Emmy winner J.J. Abrams ( Lost , Westworld , Star Wars franchise) producing the project via his Bad Robot production company.
