Kevin, you do not understand Calvinism at all. True born-again Calvinists are Bible believers. We need a Savior because of total depravity. We are all slaves to sin apart from Christ. Kevin, it is very interesting that you found the Calvinist gnostic version of total depravity and no free will to be the central meme of Calvinism, since it corroborates the historical record of Augustine developing these doctrines and thus formulating proto-Calvinism by asserting that man's sin crippled free will beyond even being able to believe.

So instead of using scripture, you are attempting to use a non-biblical philosophy to "expose" Calvinism as not being Christianity. This is sad. Reformed Theology's foundation is firmly based on scripture. You may not like it. You may not agree with it. But the use of a secular worldview to attack a theological system that you don't agree with should be a huge red flag to anyone not blinded by their traditions and hard hearts.

Go Lightly

Yes, total depravity would be the lynchpin of the others in T.U.L.I.P. According to their false system, salvation by belief is impossible.
