Wow! I was 5 when that happened- 1989. I was shaking the fence right before the earthquake b/c the dogs were barking and I was trying to get them to stop. Then the ground shook- I thought I caused it and thought I was in trouble. LOL! It sounds crazy, but that was my mindset as a kid.
