Life is a complex problem in my mind. I'm secular when it comes to physics and most other things, but the question I have always leads my searches to religion articles, and it's annoying. QUESTION: Is there any way we know of to create matter/mass without LIFE via reproduction? I know it's small, but it seems to me that if an inhabited planet eventually goes extinct, it does so with added mass from living matter. That matter, fossilized or not, could add up after a long time, which means new matter entering the universe, not some recycled star stuff, but… Read more »
